HammondCare Home Care is currently looking for Carers to join our team in the Raymond Terrace, Maitland, Cessnock, Morissett, Dora Creek and Bonnells Bay areas on a Part-time contract.

About the role 

You'll provide essential, practical care for older people, supporting them to live independently in their own homes and genuinely improving their quality of life. This includes not only day today care but also building meaningful relationships and offering companionship. The role requires travel to clients’ homes using your own car (you'll be paid $0.99 per km plus paid travel time).

In return for your expertise, we offer:

• $31.95 to $35.44 per hour plus 99c/km + paid travel time + mobile phone provided

• full training to all care workers (no experience is necessary)

About you 

• you’re a people-person who is patient and solutions-focused

• you have previous experience in aged or community care, or are looking to start your career in aged care

• you have a valid Driver’s Licence and access to an insured, reliable car (min. Third Party Property Insurance)

• ideally, you'll have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support. If you're not currently qualified and would like to be, then we can help

• you'll be flexible around meeting the changing needs of home care clients
